King & Zelko Hawaiian Woodworks designs and builds unique custom cabinetry for clients’ homes and offices. The company specializes in koa and mango woods, but works with all woods, as dictated by clients, designers and trends. King & Zelko can assist individual clients with their designs, or work with architects and interior designers on their projects. King & Zelko’s motto is, “If you can imagine it, King & Zelko can build it!”

According to Tom Zelko, a cabinetmaker with more than 30 years of experience, the key to creating beautiful cabinetry is combining good design with quality workmanship and an understanding of the wood. Zelko grew up in the cabinet business with his father (a carpenter) and brother (owner of a cabinet shop in California). Zelko has been in the cabinet and furniture-making business in Hawaii for 22 years. He has won many wood-design awards, has an in-depth knowledge of local woods and has owned his own successful cabinet and furniture-making business. Tom Zelko partnered with Paul King in 2001 to form King & Zelko Hawaiian Woodworks.

King & Zelko’s showroom is in Kailua, on Kapaa Quarry Road, behind All Pool and Spa. There, customers can view King & Zelko’s stunning workmanship, which features custom koa and mango furniture and cabinet samples. Customers can count on King & Zelko’s quality and service, which cannot be beat.
