GE has introduced remarkable appliances in two areas. First, the Monogram Pro Range line has been completely revamped. The new line features a clean, new look and provides unmatched cooking performance. Dual-flame, stacked burners provide a full range of cooking performance, from a variable low simmer of 140°F to 195°F, to a high output of 18,000 BTUs, and everything in between. Beneath the powerful gas rangetop of the 48-inch range are two fully functional, self-cleaning, European reverse-air convection ovens that offer world-class capacity and performance. The large caterers’ oven is uniquely sized to accommodate a full-size 18-by-26-inch caterer’s sheet pan. The second oven—the smaller everyday oven—easily handles 9-by-13-inch casserole dishes. Each oven is also complete with full-extension, self-cleaning racks that are designed to stay in during the self-clean cycle. Best of all, this range comes with wheels to make installation a breeze! GE has also introduced the industry’s first “single/double” wall oven. This Profile double oven, designed to fit in the space of a standard 30-inch single wall oven, offers the largest total capacity on the market today. It has stainless-steel doors, handles and trims, with glass touch controls hidden inside the upper oven door for a sleek, modern appearance. This unique control placement in the oven door frees up valuable space, so that two usable ovens are possible in the space of a single 30-inch wall oven. With a total capacity of 5 cubic feet, the largest oven of its kind, it can cook two dishes at two temperatures at the same time. Imagine having room to evenly roast a 22-lb. turkey in the 2.8-cubic-foot lower convection oven and at the same time, preparing accompanying dishes at a separate temperature in the 2.2-cubic-foot upper oven, so casseroles, trays of hors d’oeuvres or breads can be served at their peak. Thermador launched Masterpiece Deluxe series cooktops with Sensor Dome infrared sensor technology, an innovative breakthrough in the science of cooking. The sensor, in the form of a retractable dial, uses an infrared beam to continually measure the heat from the cookware so there is no guesswork and no need to constantly adjust the temperature. The sensor continuously cycles the burner on and off, or shuts it off completely to maintain a specific temperature and prevent pots from boiling over. Sensor Dome cooking adds a world of convenience to every meal. The new Bosch Nexxt 500 Series and 800 Series Washers have a special leak-protection sensor called AQUASTOP Leak Protection System, which detects and stops leaks before they ruin your floors. The washer will shut down when the sensor detects a leak, the double-walled inlet hose with stop valve stops the water flow and the pump instantly removes the water. The new Bosch Nexxt 500 Series and 800 Series Dryer offers the most options for caring for your clothes. With MISTCARE touch up, clothes that have been left in the dryer too long can be refreshed in 20 minutes. In just 16 minutes, MISTCARE,, refresh removes odors and leaves clothes ready to wear, and, in 12 minutes, you can simply release wrinkles and have a ready-to-wear item with MISTCARE wrinkle relax.
