If clothes make the individual, accessories certainly make the room. This year’s Make Over Your World contest-winning space was no exception. Curious about the accessories and furniture supplied by HomeWorld for the reveal? Read on to find out more.
Interior Designer Jancy Kuwasaki created a vignette around this Andorra console table ($319) to add a separate point of visual interest to the room. Two art pieces crown the space (prices vary) while a lamp, orchid, and stacking boxes provide even more visual interest (inventory and prices vary). “The white orchids in the clear glass vase is in contrast to the floors,” says Kuwasaki.
The Halston sofa ($999) adds a classic touch and neutral background. The armless slipper chair by Gobi ($499) offsets the light sofa with a darker, more modern silhouette. An area rug by Mansoori ($529), featuring a modern circular pattern, brings the whole look together (available by special order).
Dark brown candlesticks contrast with a white candles and bright, colorful pillows, reinforcing both the light and dark hues in the room. A leaf sculpture echoes the sofa’s neutral tones (inventory and prices vary).
A chaise lounge by Halston ($799) and end table by Lane ($279) anchor a corner of the room. Two square art pieces, a table lamp, and another colorful pillow embellish the space (inventory and prices vary). Would you like to meet the designer?
