Four years ago, Kamuela Potter saw the need for a different kind of closet system in the Islands. Rods and shelves just weren’t enough. Organized Living, Hawaii’s exclusive dealer of ORG home organization systems, was born from that need. Today, she and her husband, Brent, and a crew of seven build every type of organizational space imaginable in their clients’ homes. They design closets, pantries, garages, entertainment centers, laundry rooms and more.

Organized Living offers complimentary estimates and personalized design services. “Anything can be customized [with ORG’s modular pieces],” says Brent. With nine colors, 12 door and drawer styles, and hundreds of accessories, homeowners are sure to find their ideal systems. To gain ideas, customers can set up appointments to visit Organized Living’s showroom. This space showcases everything from home offices to wall beds.

This past December, Organized Living began offering the ORG EcoElements line, which includes ecofriendly Standard Panels, made of 100-percent recycled material, and Plus Panels, made of 100-percent recycled material with no added urea formaldehyde. Both panels are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) and have earned Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) certification. “We value our aina and are excited to be able to offer something better for the environment,” says Brent.

Organized Living also offers a wood veneer line, which is built from scratch, and can be constructed of African mahogany, Brazilian cherry or just about any other type of wood a client desires. All of Organized Living’s products are made with thick, high-quality boards and full-extension glides, which permit drawers to be completely pulled out.

The Potters have complete confidence in their products and their team. “We take a lot of pride in our crew and in the work they do. Our goal is to be the closet company of choice,” says Brent.
