In addition to natural stone, tile, appliances, plumbing fixtures and more, Selective Stone carries 70-plus varieties of prefabricated countertops.

If there’s one word that could describe Selective Stone LLC, it’s “diverse.” An extensive flooring and countertop supply company, Selective Stone was established in 1998 and has expanded its product lines considerably, according to managing director Kevin Nip.

“In November 2008, we took on a whole new line,” Nip explains. “Before, we were just doing countertops and flooring; now, our products range from stone to porcelain flooring.”

Selective Stone began doing business in the commercial market, targeting the hotel and timeshare industries. Reputed to be the “pioneers of prefabricated stone panels,” Selective Stone’s business primarily involved countertops and kitchens in order to meet the increasing demand for quality products within the marketing industry. Today, however, the company manufactures a variety of products for the home, both inside and out, including stone carvings and glass swimming-pool tiles.

While Selective Stone’s most popular item is stone countertops for interiors, there are other special features that make this company comprehensive and diverse, including products like quartzite and a full line of stone tiles.

“We have more than 60 colors of granite and marble for countertops,” Nip says. “We are a full-service stone company and we carry almost anything stone-related one could imagine.”
