Well-Connected: “Our sister company, Stone Concepts, is right here in the same complex with us. So even though Pacific Craftworks doesn’t sell or deal in countertops, we have samples on display here,” says office manager David Steele (above).

Pacific Craftworks might be one of Honolulu’s best-kept secrets. Located in the heart of Mapunapuna, the custom kitchen cabinet, bath vanity and interior/exterior door company is a relatively new kid on the block. In business for just two years, Pacific Craftworks has already turned heads and inspired many oohs and aahs with its new showroom, amply-stocked warehouse and quality-crafted products.

Owner Andy Pham doesn’t just sell cabinet doors—he manufactures them, too. “He’s not buying products from someone else and then marking them up. He’s getting them straight from the factory,” says office manager David Steele. The result? Significant savings for the customer.

“The product is exceptional,” says Steele, of the company’s cabinetry. He highlights solid-wood construction—no particle board or MDF (medium-density fiberboard)—and full-extension cabinet drawers with soft-close, anti-slam hardware by Blum.
“Blum is about the best you’re going to get,” says Steele, “and it comes standard issue.” The cabinetry also features a built-in undercabinet cleaning mechanism that allows homeowners to dust, sweep and clean spills in hard-to-reach places.

Pacific Craftworks stocks an impressive selection of exterior and interior doors. “We have louvered doors, paneled doors, glass and French doors in various styles and sizes, and we have those right here in our warehouse,” Steele says. What’s more, all doors are engineered with a pine core to prevent warping.

The knowledgeable staff at Pacific Craftworks can fulfill both modular and custom cabinetry and door orders, making sure each cabinet system fulfills the customer’s space needs and appeals to his or her personal taste. The company can also work with builders, contractors and developers to secure and create high-quality cabinetry and door systems at maximum value.

“Our off-the-shelf product is just higher quality than you’re going to find anywhere else,” Steele says. “And you’re going to find it at a price significantly lower than you’d expect.”
