There are several customizable options available for the homes such as wood flooring and Bosch kitchen appliances.

Features like the 9-foot-high ceilings on the ground floors are standard for all the models in Tides.

The second floors of the homes can range from three to four bedrooms, depending on the model, and have two full bathrooms and large storage closets. The master bedroom also features a walk-in closet, which Hobson says is one of the most popular features of the house. “It’s the kind of closet you’d find in a $600,000 or $700,000 home,” he says. “This is the one thing I would show people, and they would say, ‘All right, I’m in.’”

Hobson also says the homes attract buyers because of the nearby walking trails, communal parks, two golf courses, a new middle school across the street and a new shopping center. These features are likely to encourage more walking and biking than driving.

Traditional plantation-style wall finishes add tropical style to this bedroom in Aukai, Plan 2. Aukai features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with a total living area of 1,116 square feet.

“There’s room to breathe out here,” he says. “You have more freedom and a little bit more elbow room as far as getting out and being active.”
