3. Infinity Bowl

A combination of moss, succulents and tillandisia complement the shape and size of this vessel.

This curious planter allows you to garden right-side-up and upside-down. Lee designed this piece so that the plants in the bottom portion of the bowl could be watered with the condensation created from watering the plants on the top portion. In addition, part of the moisture created in the bottom half works to water the top half. The result: less-frequent watering.

4. Living Vase

Mondo grass, succulents and hinahina work well in a living vase. The Lees can recommend additional options based on client preferences.

“We’ve been able to take a lot of our living wall concepts and change the context to put plants on the sides of our vases,” Lee says, “and we’ve developed them to sustain themselves.” As interesting as they are portable, these prepared planters make great gifts.

Homeowners can pick up a pre-designed model or work with the Lees to customize a vase with selected colors and recommended plants. Bonus: The media fill inside the vase, which helps support plant life and growth, is made of post-consumer plastics. “We’re finding new ways to use sustainable fillers for our products,” Lee says.
