Aluminum Shake:

Enjoy the looks of natural materials such as wood and ceramic, but without the added weight. Aluminum shake reflects 95 percent of all radiant heat and because it’s rust-free, can last a lifetime.

Ceramic:

Beautiful and can last up to 100 years, but are heavy and need a big support structure

Composition/Asphalt:

Usually offered at an affordable price, these shingles are lightweight and can often be installed on top of an existing roof. They come in a variety of colors

Metal:

Lightweight, and can (in some cases) mimic the look of tile, without the added weight of ceramic. Comes in individual pieces, as tiles would, or as a panel

Slate:

Made from actual slivers of rock, this material is heavy and can be expensive, however it boasts a long lifespan, low maintenance great looks and good fire protection

Wood:

Natural and unique, wood roofing offers a distinct look and even some energy benefits such as added insulation and circulation. This material demands higher maintenance to ensure a long lifespan
