Spaces: Seven Valleys Design/Build

In addition to a sample kitchen vignette, the offices allow homeowners to see how a custom-designed space would look. In one room, chairs crafted of mango and koa wood surround a monkeypod table with a koa-wood replica of the Hokuleia embedded in the middle. The dark-brown, 6-inch baseboard with bamboo trim perfectly accents the distressed bamboo floor, and the lauhala ceiling with bamboo trim is unique. Fuller says allowing customers to “see, touch and feel” all that Seven Valleys has to offer in a real working space “starts the idea train.” He says there is “not one project when the homeowner and the contractor are always on the same page,” and Fuller wants to minimize miscommunication by offering clients the opportunity to see what a completed Seven Valleys space feels like. Homeowners can walk from office to office, viewing the different flooring, lighting, walls, windows, fixtures and furniture. This process allows customers to discover both what they want and what they don’t want. The Seven Valleys crew is adept in creating custom home and office spaces to fit every need and lifestyle. The three-dimensional virtual tours of their designs enable clients to clearly visualize their dream space and make necessary changes before construction begins. This is an important step, because, as Fuller says, “Our space dictates how we feel. [It] determines your mood, your temperament, your vibe.” Seven Valleys Design/Build500 Alakawa St., #212521-7134 Open: Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. sevenhawaii.com |
