I took it back to the place where I bought it, but no luck. Apologetically, the store clerk explained that, since we're in Hawaii, so far away from the Mainland where my brand of recycled computers end up, it would cost more money and energy to ship my old faithful back to be revamped. Thankfully, there's a great new place to recycle old electronic equipment. The company is called Pacific Corporate Solutions, and they're located in Aiea.
