Did everyone have a good holiday weekend? I just wanted to show you what I baked up for Easter dessert at my parents' house. I was in the mood for something spring-y, so I chose this vanilla bean strawberry cake. I made it a little greener by using fresh Kula Strawberries from Upcountry Maui's Kula County Farms. So good!

My parents are finally gearing up to renovate their kitchen (now's a good time!), so it will be even easier to cook and bake delicious local foods. I can't wait.
