It's called Remodeling Magazine's Cost vs. Value Report. The report comes from a study produced each year and it projects average return on investment for home improvement projects based on local data. There's one for Honolulu, and the stats are heartening. For instance, the study tells us that, in 2010, a mid-range kitchen remodel could return an average of 104 percent. Though the results are average and individual investment returns will vary based on many factors, the study is still a great indication of how financially smart a good remodeling investment can be here in the Islands. Check it out here.
