Our 2010 Green Hawaii section, designed by marketing art director Warren Daubert, was awarded a first place Pele Award in the “Magazine Advertising—Spreads or Multi-Pages” category. 

The Pele Awards is an annual competition sponsored by AAF-Hawaii that recognizes the creative design, advertising and mass media companies in Hawaii. The awards ceremony took place on April 23 at the Hawaii Theater.

Daubert, pictured below with his father (left) and brother (right), also designed this year’s beautiful Green Hawaii 2011 spread, and was presented with a second award: a silver prize in the same category for the “2010 AIA Honolulu Design Awards” section of our sister publication Hawaii Business magazine.
