JohnCookKitchens
JohnCookKitchens has been serving Hawaii homeowners’ remodeling needs since 1973. Under the leadership of owner Mark Olson, the firm has grown from a two-person cabinet sales office to an established design and remodeling company, with a diversified staff to handle almost any kitchen or bathroom remodeling project. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Olson understands the difficulties and frustrations encountered by many homeowners attempting to build a new home or remodel a kitchen.
The office staff also includes Shelley Tanner, CKD, who brings an extensive background in kitchen design. Combining her kitchen and interior design education, Tanner coordinates color, style and finish details for customers. Other key staff members include L.J. Cornel, Elisa Vollert, Christiane Batangan, CKD, Rob Wisch and Yvette Burdett.
“We provide excellent quality, custom cabinets, counters, appliances and related products, along with excellent design and unmatched personal service to our customers to make their projects go smoothly from start to finish,” says Olson.
As a licensed general contractor, JohnCookKitchens also offers complete remodeling packages for the homeowner. “We have hundreds of installations statewide,” Olson says. “Our remodeling projects range from the smallest kitchen remodel up to large multiunit projects. We work very hard to exceed our customers’ expectations in all aspects of our work.” Under the leadership of Mark Olson and with the design talents of Shelley Tanner, the company has won numerous awards for its design and remodeling projects.
In 2004, JohnCookKitchens moved its showroom and offices to the Gentry Pacific Design Center at 560 N. Nimitz Hwy. Visitors to this much larger showroom can see beautiful displays from a number of cabinet manufacturers, as well as numerous appliance and countertop options. You can also visit its Web site at www.johncookkitchens.com to see photos of past projects and find other helpful information to make planning your remodeling project easier.
